On my degree it says ‘Graphic Design’, but at heart I love all forms of creative and commercial communication. Whether illustrating or designing an identity, poster, packaging, website, painting, animation, I find the process and result to be equally gratifying. I’ve been drawing since I can remember (probably around the time of this photo), and have transformed that desire to draw into a passion for communication arts and using media and design to tell a story. I still draw though.

After studying Architecture and Design at Roger Williams University and graduating from the Maine College of Art with a degree in Graphic Design, I’ve had an incredible opportunity to surround myself with creative, diverse, and unique people and projects. In an effort to allow for personal and professional growth, I chose a career in freelance design and illustration to explore diverse design opportunities. Freelance also provides me with the freedom to explore a wide range of interests, such as my music project Animal Colors, visual art, and various personal projects, all of which better inform my design sensibility.

My approach towards design is keep it small and give your clients the attention they deserve, and approach each challenge with creative thinking and solutions that will separate them in the marketplace. I pride myself on having a strong artistic voice, but also being stylistically diverse enough to adapt my aesthetics to fit a clients needs. I’ve enjoyed working for childrens media companies, high-end fashion lines, and local bands, all of which require a different look for their brands.
