Dispatch Magazine Cover

When Maine Dispatch Magazine asked me to do the illustration for their September gubernatorial issue I jumped at the chance. Typically Dispatch uses photographs for their covers, but they felt an illustrated approach with bold graphics would give it punch and best convey the issue’s multiple topics. By combining strong graphics with illustrated topical type, we were able to convey the idea of multiple candidates with just one dynamic illustration.
