Salt Pump Climbing Co. is a new rock climbing company based in Maine. Currently building a large indoor climbing gym in Scarborough, they were in need of an identity for their gym and company. The building has a very modern feel, so we thought the juxtaposition of a logo with an antique feel would stand out and personalize the atmosphere. The fact that “S” and “P” can combine to form a vintage water pump worked perfectly considering that that was one of the inspirations for the name.
