The Silent Wild

Logo for Boston based alt/pop band ‘The Silent Wild’. I loved the sound of the name as well as imagery the name conjured up (or actually the lack-there-of), and decided to do a very minimalistic typographic logo. With the large voids of space within the thin letterforms, the goal was to reflect “silence” through type. Something depicted as “wild” doesn’t necessarily need to be loud – it can be quite calm and erie as well.
